Privacy policy

To measure this site’s audience, we first use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first tool that works without cookies and does not track visitors across sites. The data it collects is aggregated and anonymous; it cannot identify you and includes:

• The number of page views and the most-visited pages;
• The site or search engine you arrived from (referrer);
• Your country, plus the type of device and browser used.

Only with your consent, we also use Google Analytics (GA4). It sets cookies (_ga, _gid), analyses your journey through the site and sends data to Google; your IP address is anonymised. It runs only after you consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the “Manage cookies” button.

We use no advertising or profiling cookies, and this data is never sold. You may also install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

By default this site sets only the cookies strictly necessary for it to work and stay secure. These are placed by Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site (for example the “__cf_bm” bot-management cookie). For details, see the cookies used by Cloudflare. These cookies are essential and do not require your consent.

Only with your consent, and category by category, the following non-essential cookies may be set:

• statistics cookies from Google Analytics (_ga, _gid), described above;
• cookies from the Google Maps map embedded on the Contact page;
• cookies from the TripAdvisor review widget.

You choose category by category via our consent banner. Until you accept, none of these cookies are set and external content stays hidden. You can change your choices at any time with the “Manage cookies” button at the foot of the page. The cookies set by these third-party services are governed by their respective providers’ privacy policies.

When you fill in a form (contact request, group booking) or sign up for our newsletter, we collect only the information you send us, in order to process and respond to your request.

This data is stored in our own content-management system and is never sold or shared for commercial purposes. The site and that system are hosted by Railway, behind Cloudflare’s delivery and security network; images are served from Cloudflare R2. These technical providers act as processors on our behalf.

Online reservations are handled by our partner Zenchef on its own platform; any information you enter there is processed under its privacy policy.
