What are the opening hours of the Chez Clément bar?

The Chez Clément bar is open every day, with no weekly closing day (apart from the four annual closures at year end: 24 December evening, 25 December, 31 December evening, 1 January). The amplitude is full: 12 PM to 1 AM, continuously. The bar therefore remains accessible between the two restaurant services (between 2:30 PM and 7 PM), which makes it a practical afternoon drop-in for a coffee, a tea or a glass.

This continuous opening is the inheritance of the house founded in 1858. Five generations have followed one another at the address: Marcel & Andrée Clément, the third generation, opened the wine bar in 1976 and structured a cellar with a Bordeaux influence; France Clément, the fourth generation (1996-2021), launched the weekly Thursday disco nights around 1996; Marie & Gilles, the fifth generation since 2021, maintain and develop this model.

The bar is a separate space from the restaurant dining room. It welcomes regulars for an afternoon drink, a coffee, an aperitif before sitting down to a meal, or a last drink after dinner. It is also the room where Thursday disco nights take place in the evening with a DJ at the decks, and where the Apéros are enjoyed as a natural occasion at a Belgian family bar. Thursday disco night exception: on Thursday nights, the bar's activity can extend until 4-5 AM, well beyond the usual 1 AM closing time. It is the only night of the week that stretches that late.
